Kelly Ray Davis Bio

Kelly Davis grew up in Wayne, West Virginia learning to play the guitar from his Mother Lessie, Aunt Laurie and Uncle Clifford.  The family would get together every weekend to play bluegrass at Kelly’s grandmother’s house and many times play all night long.

Many legends have influenced his songwriting and    music such as Hank Williams Jr., Tony Rice, Billy Gibbons, Jimmy Hendrix, Willie Nelson and Paul Rogers. 

Before embarking on his solo career he performed with such bands as Low Ground and Rush Hour with Albums from each band, Frost and Step Into The Blue.  He has shared the marquee with members of Skynard, Kansas, Dr. Hook, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, Southern Rock All-Stars , Supa-Fuzz and many others.  He has went from playing in front of family members to playing before thousands.

Kelly’s songwriting tells the stories and experiences of his life in West Virginia.  His high energy songs will soon put him in the music spotlight.  Kelly has one son Alec Blake , who is his fathers' biggest fan.
